Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Gari

  • Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Gari is Shariah Committee Member YANAL FAINANCE. Dr. Mohammed Born and in 1949AH, He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from King Abdul-Aziz University, in 1975, then a Master’s in Economics from the University of California, in 1981 and a PhD in Economics from the University of California, in 1984.

    He worked as Expert in the International Islamic Fiqh Academy of the Organization of the Islamic Conference from 1985 until now. He was the Director of the Islamic Economics Research Center at King Abdul-Aziz University from 2000 until 2008. In addition, he worked as Professor of Islamic Economics at King Abdul-Aziz University until retirement in 2008.

    He is a Member of the Sharia Board of the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) from 2000 until the present. In addition, he was an expert in the Islamic Fiqh Academy, Organization of Islamic Cooperation 2005 until now;

    Also, he was a member of the Scientific Committee of the Islamic Research and Training Institute of the Islamic Development Bank in Jeddah from 1990- 1997. Moreover, he was a member of the Shariah Board of the Dow Jones Islamic Market Index (New York) from 1998 until now.
 

Prof. Abdullah bin Musleh Al-Thummali

  • Prof. Abdullah bin Musleh Al-Thummali is Shariah Committee Member at YANAL FAINANCE. Prof. Abdullah bin Musleh Al-Thummali born in 1347 AH. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Sharia from College, Umm Al-Qura University. Then completed his Master’s degree in Jurisprudence and its Fundaments and Ph.D. in Islamic Economics from Umm Al-Qura University.

    Achieved “Qualifying Sharia Scholars to work in Islamic Finance Institutions” program, for two years, which provided by the Shariah group at the National Commercial Bank, 1435 AH. He worked as Assistant Professor at the department of Islamic Economics, and then Associate Professor, finally Professor until his retirement in 1434 AH.
